In 2005 I built this wall mounted side table to go alongside my recliner. I spent hours one day roaming a hardware store looking for a design concept that was unique, compact and functional. What followed was a design consisting of painted 1.5” PVC piping supporting a frosted glass shelf with a task light. The PVC comes off of the wall with a light extruding out of one branch while another works itself down to a single point of support on the floor. Cantilevered between the PVC is a frosted glass shelf that is illuminated by the adjustable light above. The enjoyment I had designing & building this table became the inspiration for the work shown on this site.
