Bruges, Belgium

In 2008 I met up with two grad school buddies of mine in Munich for two & a half weeks of travel around Europe. Armed with a Eurail train pass, we visited Milan, Genoa, Paris, Bruges, Amsterdam, London & Frankfurt.
From Paris we took a train to Bruges for an overnight stay in a great little hostel with it’s own downstairs pub serving the local selections. As a fan of Belgium beers, I was very content. The next morning provided us perfect sunny weather for walking around this beautiful city with it’s canals, streetscapes & brightly colored medieval architecture.
