This was built for a good friend going back to my early San Francisco days. The body is made of two angular stained wood forms placed perpendicular to each other. There are light sources located within three stainless steel rectangular boxes with translucent fronts that wrap over the top and side of the body. The stainless steel boxes are reimagined cotton ball containers from Ikea.
