This was one of the earlier lamps I designed, which was made to sit on my bedside. A dark stained wood board runs to the surface’s edge where an angled block of wood extends vertically from it. A Stainless steel adjustable neck light source with a frosted glass shade protrudes from top of the wood block and curves back down to look over the edge.
