Genoa, Italy

In 2008 I met up with two grad school buddies of mine in Munich for two & a half weeks of travel around Europe. Armed with a Eurail train pass, we visited Milan, Genoa, Paris, Bruges, Amsterdam, London & Frankfurt.
  After a sleepless night walking around Milan in the early hours of morning, we boarded a train for Genoa on the Italian Riviera. We stayed for two nights in a little hostel on top of a hill looking down on this vibrant port city.
