Munich, Germany

In 2008 I met up with two grad school buddies of mine in Munich for two & a half weeks of travel around Europe. Armed with a Eurail train pass, we visited Milan, Genoa, Paris, Bruges, Amsterdam, London & Frankfurt.
The beginning of this trip in involved a great deal of elation in being with my friends. This of course involved taking advantage of the local beer gardens. So there was less time spent walking the city, but we did visit the beatifully modern BMW factory and brief walk through the site of the 1972 Munich Olympics.
