Transit around Europe

In 2008 I met up with two grad school buddies of mine in Munich for two & a half weeks of travel around Europe. Armed with a Eurail train pass, we visited Milan, Genoa, Paris, Bruges, Amsterdam, London & Frankfurt.
A good deal of our time on this trip was spent in transit, whether between countries on high speed trains, or within cities on local subway systems. The variety of views and settings of this in between time only added to the richness of the experience.
